Advantages: Classic Songs Disadvantages: Not long enough!
...the songwriting on this album is un rivalled. That is why it contains such classics as Two Minutes to Midnight, and Aces High.
Musically, Powerslave is brilliant, and the song Powerslave is the best example.
Rime of the ancient mariner is one of the best epic maiden songs ever. A juke Box Classic.
Bruce's vocals are untouchable on this album. The production works brilliantly.
Has one of the best maiden album sleeves, faturing an egyptian eddie!
The mummified eddie, one of the best ever, came from this album. This eddie recently made an appearence at Metal 2000, Earls Court, London.
You must own this Maiden Album...

Advantages: songwriting, emotion, creativity, sonics Disadvantages: only thirty six minutes of it!
...the fragility of Daniel's falsetto and Eric Harvey's laid back piano vibe.
4. Don't You Evah: A cover of a song by New York band The Natural History, this take recalls the stark simplicity of I Turn My Camera On, especially with respect to Rob Pope and Jim Eno's fantastic bass/drum combination. A very leisurely punky verse collapses into a mass of vocal harmonies and syncopated beats courtesy of Eno.
5. Rhthm & Soul: An impatient burst of acoustic guitars, bass, drums settles into a steady backing for Britt Daniel's stream of consciousness vocal delivery. Joined by playful keyboards in the chorus, it certainly does what it says on the tin.
6. Eddie's Ragga: named after I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness' EddieRobert, this track is propelled by Eno's rigid skin-bashing, while Pope's slinky bass provides the melody for the most part. As the name...
