I am loathed to rattle on for too long about 'A Rush of Blood to the Head', because a lengthy review only serves to put doubts into the mind of potential buyers. I will, though...hehehe.. Let's put it this way : my Wife and I collectively own over 400 CD albums. I bought 'Rush...' the DAY it came out. She then received a copy for her Birthday. We STILL have both copies, and it is the only album we have two copies of..and I don't care!! Buy this album, for pity's sake. It is one of the most exciting, emotional, heart pounding, tap-along, sing-along til you pop albums I have ever bought. I knew the lyrics to every track within a couple of days, because I had played the damn thing so much!! If the album had been vinyl, I would've needed my Wife's second copy by now, as mine would be worn out. I am not going to go into specifics, but listen to it for yourself, and see what you think. All I will say is that 'The Scientist' is one of the best music tracks I have EVER heard, and 'God Put a Smile Upon Your Face' wakes me up in the car on the way to work every day. Top notch!! If I had enough money to buy this CD for every person who loves music to add to their collection...I would, as it most certainly would enhance your life and - more importantly - would pay more royalties to Guy Berryman, Jon Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin so that they can get busy on enjoying life and ALSO writing more quality tunes for the World to enjoy. Roll on the next piece of history....

Advantages: Accoustic harmonies and easy to listen to songs.Sincere and heartfelt lyrics. A really nice album. Disadvantages: I didnt like it as much as X&Y or A Sudden Rush of Blood to the Head.
