This is easily one of the best Rush Compilation Albums anyone could buy. The album includes a number of songs (15 i think) with beautifully blended keyboard patches and quality production. It covers songs from 5 Rush albums which include Moving Pictures, Hold your Fire, Signals, Grace Under Pressure, and Power Windows. Songs include the very popular 'Tom Sawyer' which is an absolute must listen for Progressive Rock Lovers, Red Barchetta and Limelight from the bands biggest selling album Moving Pictures. Subdivisions, Analog Kid and New World Man from the album Signals are excellent examples of the keyboarding influence of Geddy Lee, while Force Ten, Time Stand Still and Mission from the album Hold Your Fire continue to amaze in terms of Lee's Vocals and great guitar and keyboard patches. Neil Peart's touch on the drums is sublime and Alex Lifeson pitches in with some brilliant solos, and great rhythm throughout. There are some great lyrics on few songs - 'Time Stand Still' being my fav. The drumming on 'Tom Sawyer' is to mathematical precission! Stunning display of progressive work by Rush.
Mystic Rhythms, Marathon and Big Money from the album Power Windows capture the Rush feel in a different way from the original albums like 2112 and Caress of Steel which is why people listening to these albums first, might tend not to like the more fast paced and energetic albums of rush. My personal favourite on keyboard rhythm is Red Sector A from the album Grace Under Pressure. To wrap it all up, Distant Early Warning and The Body Electric from Grace Under Pressure complete the compilation. All in all, an absolute must have for Rush and Progressive metal Fans.
