Advantages: An album for guitarists and music fans alike
Disadvantages: Johnson is often overshadowed by more "popular" guitarists

Eric Johnson is somewhat of an oddity. A great guitarist, a talented singer and, most importantly, a first-rate song-writer, he is often overlooked and overshadows by his peers. A self-confessed perfectionist, Johnson can spent months (sometimes even years) working on a project. His technically brilliance on guitar is equal (if not beyond) that of the likes of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen; however, whilst these three made their career in the eighties for "shredding" (for anyone who doesn't know, "shredding" is a style of guitar playing where the basic aim is to play as many notes as quickly as possible), Johnson reserved his abilities and instead crafted songs that are both powerful and thought-provoking. The Misty Isle

Advantages: Stunning landscape, nice towns to visit
Disadvantages: None

The Isle of Skye is somewhere I have wanted to visit my whole life, but have never had the chance. The Scottish Isles for me have a sort of mystique about them, the isolation and the tradition they have, but Skye has always been the one I?ve wanted to go to. I think a lot of it has to do with my favourite band, Runrig, being from there ? their songs are often about the landscape they grew up in, and they even have a song called Skye. Finally, at the end of September this year, I went to the island with my parents. Idle Punk

Advantages: Some Great Instrumentals
Disadvantages: Adult Content

I brought this CD quite a few years ago now, so although the actual soundtrack is not a new one, it still remains a popular purchase. As the years have gone by, my tastes have changed and so no longer listen to the CD, though for those who enjoy this type of genre, then they will love it. The Idle Hands CD contains music from the motion picture distributed back in 1999. ******Background on the Movie****** Although you certainly do not need to have watched the movie to love this CD, I thought that a short synopsis of Idle Hands the movie is relevant to this review. Idle Hands is classed as a comedy/horror, though in my opinion, it is more teen comedy than anything else.
