I'm Dave and i am a web designer from Derby. I've not long gained my degree in Computing at Derby University and Have been into computers for as long as i can remember.

Before I heard this album I hadn't really got into Metallica, I had a few songs, Until it Sleeps, Hero of the Day, Mama Said, Bleeding Me, Cure. It wasn't until a friend heard me playing Bleeding Me that he knew it was from S & M as it was the version from that album. He let me borrow his copy of S&M and I couldn't believe my ears. I was hooked on it and have been listening to a few of the songs off of the album almost every day since I heard it 8 weeks ago. 6 new fav songs, Master of Puppets, The Memory Remains, No Leaf Clover, Nothing Else Matters (spin tingling good with the orchestra), Outlaw Torn and One.
He also let me borrow his DVD of the concert and was a buzz to actually watch them play it and not just listen imagining it.
A great buy and listen to if you are a metallica fan, and even if you aren't.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
the great thing is it doesn't have to be your cup of tea, it still keeps the heavy tone of Metallica yet the classical orchestra mellows out the sound into an enjoyable listed, 2 years after writing this review its still a favourite listen of mine and one sone is normally played out of every 6-7 songs on random on my MP3 player.
