In my opinion this is the best that i have EVER listened to. I personally am not really a huge fan of the 'metal' genre of music but i think that this album is just outstanding. Deciding to combine their raw and meaty guitar riffs and drums with the stunning vocals with an orchestra was a fantastic move. This album, in my opinion, is a must for the hardened Metallica and Metal fan but also for those who appreciate good music, something you can rock out to, or even sit back and listen to in the background. I have found the beauty of this album, i can listen to it full blast with headphones on, or have it playing quietly in the background and it suits all moods and situations. The selection of songs on this album also caters for everyone, giving you some more chilled out relaxing songs, and some of their more hardcore songs.The orchestra brings so much to the songs, so even offers you something if you already own all the other Metallica albums. In my opinion it gives the songs so much more, beef and power with the orchestra supporting them. I would highly reccomend this album to everyone. I listen to this album everyday and i will never get bored of listening to it. This album has been inspiring to me :)

Advantages: the album is a definate must for metallica fans, its kind of like a greatest hits album but the album is completly live and has a live orchestra in the background, recorded from a live concert (also available on DVD) also songs never released before Disadvantages: the only down on this is that some of the songs sound different with the orchestra in the background, but some people may prefere the version on this album than other albums (i myself do on certain songs)
