Safe From Harm - Dusted

Advantages: It's got unfinished sympathy.
Disadvantages: Most of the rest of it is filler.

...The problem with Blue Lines is that it couldn't possibly live up to the promise of "Unfinished Sympathy". More to the point, it doesn't live up to the promise of the other singles from the album, "Safe From Harm" (with Tracey Thorn of EBTG on vocals), and Hymn Of The Big Wheel. It's unfortunate really, but the rest of the album really isn't very good. Listening to the entire album in one sitting is pretty intolerable, and you'll find yourself going back to it just for the chance to hear Unfinished Sympathy, one of the best tracks of the decade. One of the best nocturnal songs, completely haunting. But to say the album is worth it just for that is difficult to do. Buy the single.... Read review

Advantages: On the limmited edition it has all the music videos on it as well! An excellent touch I think!
Disadvantages: The cover is the only downside that I have found, it looks nice now but after time it's going to be a bit scruffy as it's made like a hard back book with no plastic covering.

...Collected is a true master piece and one that Massive Attack should be proud of. It pulls together everything they have achieved over the years and pulled it together into one neat little CD. Also just for the added touch they have released a limited edition two disk version which includes all of their videos on CD 2 which I have found to make for an interesting viewing. The first CD includes all their great tracks such as Protection, Teardrop, Unfinished Symphony and Safe from Harm as well as some of their lesser known releases. I had always respected the work of Massive Attack in the past though it wasn't until its release of collected this compilation CD that I had realized just how much they had accomplished. ...Right let's start with the information, this is essentially a 2 CD and 1 DVD collection withthe second Cd and the DVD on a double-sided disc. Little irritation, the writing is very small on the discs and the sleeve, and the discs are difficult to remove without touching the playing surface.
