Alexander O'Neal dropped his second album, "Hearsay" in 1986, a year after debuting with a self-entitled record to burst through on the music scene as another force in the R&B/Soul scene of the mid eighties. The Mississippi native's top material came out of this album, and allowed him to breakthrough as a worldwide mainstream performer. 1. "Intro" 2. "To Make You Love Me" To get things going have a song to begin things which takes on the form of the funky Dance-R&B of the time. It is a great way to kick it all off, and it acts as a real up-lifter to introduce you into his sound. It is straight-forward feel-good material from him, and you can't really feel negatively towards it at all. **Four Stars** 3. Don't criticise this collection

Advantages: Some big hits
Disadvantages: Some lesser songs which may not appeal to some people

Alexander O' Neal started in the 1970s and became big in the 1980s. Things dried up later on, though he had record contracts. This album is a new Greatest Hits collection as you can tell from the not very imaginative title. It's about 9 or 10 years since the last "Best of" was released. Alex has been better received in the UK than anywhere else and more or less lives here now. The album cover shows a rather suave looking Alex. Here's a track listing. 1. Never Knew Love Like This 2. Bit of a SAGA . .

Advantages: Simple.
Disadvantages: None found yet, watch this space.

. . OK Ciao, this is my second attempt at writing this review, my last 400 & odd words have just vanished, thanks Ciao. SAGA insurance, or I really should say UK Insurance Ltd who underwrite it, seem to be a pretty good company. I have been with them for nearly a year, since I reached the magic Five Oh. I went online to find a competitive price, and although Saga was not the cheapest, it seemed a lot cheaper than most. The cover was just what I wanted, so I went for it. As yet I have not had to claim so can not give feedback on the service. My policy covers social domestic & pleasure, with full no claims bonus, (protected) and legal protection.
