Susan Howatch was born 14 July in the year 1940. She is a well established writer and she is mainly known for her family sagas.In her much later novels that had a religious and philosospical flavour to them. She was born in Surrey in a town called Leatherhead and her father was a stockbroker.She was educated in a school in Sutton. Her father died when she was young in the second world war 11 despite that her childhood was a happy one. Desperately Seeking Susan.

Advantages: Great, original and funny film with good acting.
Disadvantages: You may want to watch it again and again.

The Film ************* Desperately Seeking Susan is a fantastic movie starring singer Madonna (in her first major movie role), Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction, The Whole Nine Yards) and Aidan Quinn (Practical Magic, Haunted) amongst others. Rosanna Arquette plays an extremely bored housewife, Roberta Glass, who loves to read the personal ads in the newspaper. It seems she is specifically interested in a series of ads placed 'Desperately Seeking Susan' and eventually decides to go to the meeting place mentioned in the ad to see who the poster and 'Susan' are.
