Advantages: Fantastic display of Jazz composition Disadvantages: Jazz isn't for everyone
blues musicians and composed a jazz song. It has a distinctly Blues feel to it yet is Jazz through and through. The structure and composition are two completely different things. I really like this track, not only is it clever but it's a fantastic piece of music too. 8 minutes of enjoyment.
The final track, "R&R", opens on a classic bass scale that walks into the opening saxophone of EricDolphy (who, unfortunately, died on tour in Berlin in 1964). I like an album that rounds itself off with a similar track to that of the first. This is another classic Jazz café piece. One you could expect to hear when you walk in to see your local live Jazz band, sitting in the corner, chain smoking with a bottle of beer at their feet? Isn't that what R&R is all about!
Every track on the album is recorded to perfection. Each of the musicians ...

One More Car, One More Rider by Eric Clapton

Tracks on the first CD Open with a sit down set.

Now, I never normally buy music DVDs, I always think I will only watch them once so I don't bother. But this one was a birthday present for my 21st from my son. I did think it was a little odd, but it made sense when I got my other present... 2 concert tickets for the Girls Aloud concert! Hehe it was so I could get a feel for it, and I am glad I watched this because it's made me more excited about seeing the concert now!
The DVD is a completeconcert shot at Wembley Arena in 2006, the girls second tour. They perform their Greatest Hits to date, which include first single Sound of the Underground, Biology and The Show. They also throw in a few surprise songs, some great dancing, fabulous outfits and a whole lot of fun!
The tour kicks off with their hit single Biology. The introduction is a little weird with a mad scientist creating ...
