Advantages: Great collection of songs Disadvantages: Candy by Mandy Moore seems to be missing
...Centre Stage is one of my favourite films and the soundtrack is one of the things that make it so. I can't listen to Michael Jackson - The Way You Make Me Feel or Jamiroquai - Canned Heat without thinking of the dance routines and trying to re-enact bits too.
The CD has 14 of the best songs from the film as follows;
1. Mandy Moore - I Wanna be with you (the one where Jodie and Cooper get it on)
2. International Five - First Kiss
3. Ashley Ballard - Dont Get Lost in the Crowd
4. P.Y.T. - We're Dancing (plays at start of closing credits)
5. Thunderbugs - Friends Forever
6. Cyrena - Get used to This
7. P.Y.T - A Girl can Dream
8. Jamiroquai - Cosmic Girl
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Higher Ground (the jazz class routine)
10. Elvis Crespo and Gizelle D'Cole - Come Baby Come (Salsa club and throwing sponges)
11. Michael Jackson - The Way...

In his latest album "Cita Con Angeles" (Rendez-vous with Angels), there is a song which carries the same title...
