...at the start is quite disappointing but oh no still a pristine album and This song is ace with some real inspired singing from Serj and then into his political screaming. Enough said. (No.13) Psycho is ...er... about someone who is cocaine crazy (aren’t we all?) Aerials (No.14) just belongs up there in the sky as SOAD come up with another brilliant original song. Yes there we are all the songs covered. AH but no there is one more a hidden track that isn’t very hidden called Arto is just plain weird. With some Bongo drumming and some wailing as if a crowd of African tribesmen. An original and excellent ending to the most original and excellent album your ever likely to hear. You haven’t lived if you haven’t listened to this band. Trust me its a small price to pay for one of the most inspirational sounds ever.... Read review

Advantages: A dream among musicians. The self titled album “Savage Garden” is one that defines the band. With songs such as Truly Madly Deeply and I want you, how could it not be a hit. A bumpy ride with some inadvertent depictions of love.
Disadvantages: A pure and unrecognised talent shown within this album is pitiful. I pity anyone that has not had the chance to enjoy such wondrous music. The disadvantages are that the band have little or no recognition in the UK.

...Well now – it seems I have written about just about every other Savage Garden item, so (I have even written about “the animal song” by Savage Garden – although when it came to posting I found that there isn’t a bloody category, DAMN YOU CIAO!!) Advantages: 11 out of 12 really good tracks, less rock more relaxing.
Disadvantages: Self-indulgent track 12

...Everyone who has not already done so should go out and buy a copy of this album. Not because it is an extremely good album, but because of it’s title. Every CD collection should have an album entitled “Onka’s big Moka” nestled amongst it’s ranks. I’ve no idea who or what an Onka is, and as for a Moka, I’m not sure I even want to know! Still, it is such a cool title! Certainly beats such inspired creations such as “Steptacular” and “Britney”! So, it’s got a cool title, but is the album any good, well in a word, yes. I’m on a bit of a roll at the moment with album purchases. the last two albums I have bought have been absoutle crackers, I Should Coco by Supergrass and Songbird by Eva Cassidy.
