If you liked Savage Garden's recent album 'Affirmation' and are expecting this previous album to take the same style as 'Affirmation', you might be slightly disappointed. As interesting as it is to trace their style and skill back in time to see how they've developed, this ain't the bundle of almost 'pop' music as found on the last album. True there are the classic singles they released light years ago, but the rest takes a much darker and alternativwe style. Not that I'm complaining though, Savage Garden are definately advised to steer clear of typical pop, for the sake of their talent and skills. These songs could be the bridging point for dedicated pop fans to different styles of music. The lyrics again are are work of art, and no doubt at least a few tunes will have you singing along, no matter how choosy you are. After years and months this CD still possesses prime place in my CD rack, top album!

Advantages: A complete album of savage garden's most romantic hits, and heartfelt lyrics Disadvantages: a couple of songs that aren't brilliant but still alright
