Advantages: Good selection of chocolates at a fair price Disadvantages: none in my view
Review of Thornton's Moments chocolate selection
My other half had his birthday last month and he was given a box of these chocolates by my daughter. She is a chocoholic and was hoping (I presume) that he would open them straightaway and let her dive in.....She was sorely disappointed as he didn't! Anyway on with the review!
The Product
A boxed selection of six different Thornton's Chocolates. The box I am reviewing is the 250g size, however the chocolates are also available as 650g box in supermarkets or a 650g bowl on the manufacturer's website.
Packaging and Contents
Moments come in a slightly out of the ordinary box, flat on the reverse, yet semi domed at the front. The recyclable cardboard box is wrapped in a clear cellophane wrapper. The box is rather distinctive as it is decorated with images of the actual chocolates ...
Advantages: smells fab. moisturises, softens, cleanses Disadvantages: none at all
As you all know I love my beauty products, especially shower gels or shower creams. Whenever I go shopping I'm always on the look out for a new beauty product which I haven't tried before. Out of all the different shower gels I have tried in the past the Radox shower gels are a firm favourite of mines because they are reasonably priced and they all smell nice. A few weeks ago whilst shopping in Tesco's I noticed that they had a special offer on Nivea Shower creams and gels. I really live most of the Nivea products which are on the market, but the Shower Gel was one of the Nivea products which I hadn't tried before. Normally a 250ml bottle of Nivea Cashmere Moments Shower Gel costs in the region of £1.50-£2 depending on where you purchase it from; but since Tesco had their Nivea Shower Gels and Creams on Special offer I only paid £0 ...
Advantages: A luxurious Shower Cream, leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. Disadvantages: Tricky to open, smells a bit flowery
Cashmere Moments Shower Cream From Nivea. I have tried out quite a few different Shower and Bath Creams, some which are fabulous and some which are hit and miss. This one for me is a middle of the road Shower Cream, and please forgive me for sitting on the fence, with this one but it really is just mediocre.
Price: For a 250ml bottle at my local Tesco store this product is £1.78. And after comparing the supermarket prices on this product (www.mysupermarket.co.uk), this is the best deal, with Asda coming in at the same price and Sainsbury's a bit more at £1.84. I personally think this is good value for money and even better when there is a BOGOF offer too! I firstly got given this product as part of a Nivea gift set, it was a small 50ml bottle but this did last me a couple of weeks as I don't tend to need to use a lot of the cream in ...
