There are games that claim to allow the player to choose where they want to go and that their actions have true consequences on their game. Most do not deliver on this promise. Mass Effect on the other hand delivers this in spades, explaining these in detail would ruin the truly amazing storyline as most of the choices come at pivitol points in the game, sometimes however you can make a choice which changes the game without even realising it.
