just before i write my review, thought i'd let u know how they got their name if u don't already know. it is not that they are hair dressers, the scissor sisters are lesbians on the subway in NYC and get their kicks by flashing other 'sisters'.
anyway, i thoroughly enjoyed this album and still do every time i hear it, obviously after a while one or two songs were a little overplayed both by myself and on the radio. it is very different from anything else around at the moment. if u have an open mind concerning music, its well worth buying, there are a few tracks which are very camp, some quite glam rocky all blended together with some nice bass lines, experimental rifts and a few fair ground noises to emphasise the fun side to the music.
