First things first. This guy is only 17 years old, wow! Being his debut album at 17 it is a really quite special, especially when it is as good as this. Even though the most well known track is 'Beautiful Girls' the title of this album is Sean Kingston which really is the precursor to numerous references to him in the album, especially the track 'Kingston'.
Unlike many new artists now , 100% of the lyrics were made up by himself, which really adds to the individual feel to this album as he has been able to created R&B tracks which people following any genre of music could follow and enjoy.
The track listing is a sfollows;
-Intro - Like most R&B albums this is just an introduction to the album and this being his debut, he just introduces himself.
-Kingston - One of the better tracks, starts the story of his life.
-Take You There - This is another track which could be enjoyed most people so this is likely to be one of the tracks released as a single.
-Me Love - This will be the second single off the album and for the firsttime you can start to get vibes from his Jamacian roots and listening to this track jsut makes me think of the Caribbean. It has already reached # 14 in the US so there are big hopes for this.
-Beautiful Girls - This really needs no introduction being the first single off the album, reaching #1 on the 2nd September with a huge 55144 sales. I am getting a bit bored of this song but it is an indication to how good the album is.
-Dry Your Eyes - This is a much slower tune and recolects his struggles when his mother and sister were locked up when he was 15.
-Got No Shorty - Sounds more like a song from the Black eyed peas but is a welcome upbeat track.
-There's Nothin - Featuring Paula Deanda this is one of only 2 tracks done with other artists.
-I Can Feel It - One of those tracks that you just want to wind doen the windows and turn it up loud (with maximum bass).
-Drummer Boy - Being a fairly long album some of teh tracks are bound to be below par and this, i believe, is one of these.
-Your Sister - Not much to say really, just another great tune.
-That Ain't Right - Feels like a filler track really.
-Change - I think this track could be changed.
-Colours (2007 Reggae Remix Featuring VYBZ Kartel and Kardinal Official) - This is a bonus track and the track sends the message that you should represent the flag you are loyal to.
If you enjouyed 'Beautiful Girls' then this is a must buy album but it your not a fan then i would probarbly waut for a few more tracks because alot of the tracks have the same feel to them.

Quick review of Sean Kingston - Sean Kingston
This is a good album, i have really enjoyed listening to it and i am sure many others will do too. Beautiful girls is i guess the most popular song on the disc but in my opinion its not the best, there are many others that have a catchy R&B beat that make you sing along. He writes all of his own material and introduces himself in the first opening songs. Overall my favourite album of the year. ...

Advantages: Brief hints of quality Disadvantages: Generally weak
In 2007 the then-17-year-old Miami-raised Pop, R&B and Reggae singer SeanKingston made his debut with a self-entitled release. Born in Jamaica?s capital, the singer shot to fame with his hits ?Beautiful Girls? whilst using Reggae influence in music which is based mostly in R&B and Pop.
1. ?Intro?
2. ?Kingston?
After giving us an understating of who he is, you see that he leads us into the first track with a Pop Rap track as he comes out with a tune which has him speaking on why exactly he chose to take on the name of his hometown as his stage name on some hard beats. This kind of Hip Pop doesn?t really appeal to me as you see that he starts things off with a rather unimpressive tune with some rather simplistic rhymes.
**Two Stars**
3. ?Take You There?
He moves things on a bit as he throws down one of the singles from the album ...

8. "Rubber Bands"
You get some Crunk from Soulja Boy on this one as he chooses to take it to places where his msuic asn't really gone before as he uses the SOD Money Gang Mafia as the basis to this one, and gets him rapping about how many stacks of cash he's having to contain within "Rubber Bands"
**Four Stars**
9. "Hey You There"
This humerous one fromt he artist seems to have him attempting to squeeze out all theat "Yahhh!" had within it. I know that so many were annoyed by that one, and if this one was to become a single, similar feelings would be felt towards it
**Four Stars**
10. "Yamaha Mama" (feat. SeanKingston)
SeanKingston works with Soulja boy on this Polow Da Don-prudced tune, where it gets them swicth things up and go for an R&B-based track. I haven't really liked these ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Sean Kingston (vocals); Jonathan 'J.R.' Rotem (various instruments); Mike Feingold (guitar); Lyrica Anderson (background vocals). Additional personnel: Paula Deanda, Kardinal Official, Vybz Kartel (rap vocals). The 17-year-old MC known as Sean Kingston got put on the 21st-century way--through his myspace page. On his impressive self-titled debut full-length, Kingston blends elements of contemporary R&B, dancehall reggae, and radio-friendly pop over 14 tracks, all the while flowing with hungry, upstart energy. The stand-out track and debut single, "Beautiful Girls," quickly became the summer jam of 2007, with its infectious beats and clever sampling of Ben E. King's classic "Stand By Me." The rest of the album's thump comes courtesy of West Coast producer J.R., and with a tracklist light on guest stars (Paula DeAnda, Vybz Kartel, and Kardinal Offishal), SEAN KINGSTON heralds the coming of an assured young artist brimming with potential.
