See You On The Ice - Inflatable Sharks

Best band to come out of Bristol in years and an absolute travesty that not more people got to know their music first hand. Truly awesome musicians who put their essence into each and every aspect of song writing and performing. Indeed, the production of the album belies the true passion the band exuded live, and that is in no mean a sleight on the Production team, more testament what a superb gigging band the Inflatable Sharks were.

...had someone in record company land had the balls to look past the anti Bristol / carrot crunchering "Oh Christ, not another Massive Attack" snobbery of the time. Maybe with Vicky Pollard being "de rigueur" these days, there maybe hope yet…. Doubt it though.

I dare any record exec who reads this to part with a fiver, listen to the bloody album, and tell me these lads aren't the nuts.

Would break my heart if they ever went on X Fucters or Pop Idle (sic) just to get the recognition deserved, but by God, they would be huge overnight.
