Advantages: cheap to buy, surprisngly quick, great fun, lots of character, good economy Disadvantages: some poorly maintained ones about, hanbrakes are pathetic, poor rear space
I own a 1999 Fiat Seicento Sporting, and have owned this particular car now for 8 months, before it, i owned a cinquecento sporting for a year. and i am a member of the owners club, so this is my review of near 2 years of 'cento ownership and living with the car and its quirks.
first off, the size of the car, now it is very small, we all know that, but there is a surprising amount of space in the front. don't believe people who say you won't fit in it if you are over 5'5!! they are talking nonsense, i am 6ft 2 and have plenty room to spare. i just need to make sure i don't have any passengers sit behind me that are over 4ft tall!, so bare that in mind if you're looking at one, if you carry more than 2 passengers, its maybe not quite the car for you. if you dont have so many passengers to consider, then great!, how much luggage do ...
Advantages: Small and easy to park Disadvantages: Loud, uncomfortable and pokey.
Well, this car is a first time buyers dream. It teaches you exactly what you dont want in your next car.
I've had my Fiat Seicento for under 3 years, and as some may notice, I've bought and reviewed the peugeot 206. This is because I got fed up of the uneasy ride and the fear that a 40mph crash could fold the car up like paper.

My car was supplied with a leaking sunroof which took months to fix, and also a faulty speedometer which rendered the car unsafe. However the latter fault took well over a month the fix and was only done so with the threat of legal action against the dealership. The fiat approved dealership were completely useless, and I always felt that I was treated differently for being a 17 year old girl. The car only scores 1 full star in the euro ...
I bought my second hand Fiat Seicento in April 2007, at 9 years old, for my first car. My car is a 1.1 Sporting Abarth edition which comes up upgraded alloy wheels, bodykit and abrath interior. It is a nice 'ferrari' red colour, which is a lot less of an eyesore than the yellow version!
1. Interior of the car
The car is well made, with extremely comfortable sports seats. The interior of my car is Abarth with the scorpion logos embroidered onto the seats, which are navy blue and black. The dash is nicely arranged, and the additional rev counter seems to be in an odd position at first but you get used to it, and then it seems the norm.
The leather steering wheel is nice and a good size, and complements well with the leather gearknob.
There are what looks like carbon fibre panels on the dash which gives a nice sporty feel to the car ...
