Advantages: good rhythms and music remain, their individual sound is still there Disadvantages: possibly not enough songs for the avid lostprophets fan, could possibly have a little more variety
although it differs from their older albums, this is still an excellent album from the welsh group. with inspirational lyrics such as 'there's no pride to be found when you follow sheep around', this album provides an incredibly powerful message to today's society - be an individual, do not be afraid to be yourself, and don't care about what everyone else is doing!
this was a welcome return from lostprophets, as it had been a few years since their previous album, start something, had been released. when the video for 'rooftops' hit the united kingdom, they gained more than a few new fans. accompanying four of the songs on this album, there are videos for 'rooftops', 'town called hypocrisy', 'can't catch tomorrow', and '4am forever', which are equally as powerful as the underlying message behind the songs.

The lostprophets are a welsh, alternative/metal band that were formed in 1997. They have produced quite a few demos, three albumns and roughly 10 singles in their band career. This album compared to their others is a little more downbeat and light hearted, with not the alternative rock and metal genre they are renowned for. In spite of this the album still has some great songs and music.
When i bought the album i expected it to be metal, with some heavy rhythms and guitar, as Bob Rock had enlisted the band (Who was responsible for several metallica albums, possibly one of the greatest metal bands of all time.)
