Sense And Sensibility - Original Soundtrack

Sense and Sensibility plus extra features = great item

Advantages: What extras there are complement the film well
Disadvantages: Might only appeal to a specific audience, few extra features

This isn't intended a film review, more an assessment of its presentation on DVD, so I won't criticise the slight rearrangements of Austen's story and the expansion, omission or modifications of the roles of certain characters - the film makers have their reasons for making those artistic choices - but I will say that the original novel has been well adapted and brought together so cohesively that you don't miss the cut characters. St. Elmo's Fire - Original Soundtrack

Advantages: Excellent Movie Sountrack.
Disadvantages: None!

memories of this movie and of the time it was released in the charts to me and I just love recalling it all. This track was released in 1985 and reached number 15 in the billboard charts. The music video to accompany this love song was taken from clips of the St Elmo's Fire movie also. This is an excellent track, that?s an all time favourite to me. Review of St. Elmo's Fire - Original Soundtrack

A Sensible Film to Watch

Advantages: Excellent acting, wonderful storyline
Disadvantages: Children may be unable to follow

I've been off work for the past week, quite ill from a spider bite. Although I passed away much of the time resting/sleeping, I've had periods where I felt the need to be entertained. On Thursday, I pulled one of all-time favorite films, Sense and Sensibility, off the shelf and turned on my trusty VCR. This has to be at least the fifth or sixth time that I watched this film since I purchased just a little over a year ago. I always enjoy it and find it particularly appealing when I'm in a bit of a serious or comtemplative mood. Sense and Sensibility boasts and excellent cast that includes Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Kate Winslet, and Alan Rickman. Emma Thompson portrays the eldest and most "sensible" sister, Elinor.
