...This review I have been itching to do since Christmas, but I wanted to do it the proper justice it deserves. Queen On Fire. Live at the Bowl. June 5th 1982. Its explosive, raw, sexy, funky, foot-stompin', head-bangin' great music, and could only have been provided by one Legendary Group...... ****************************QUEEN*********************************** 1) FLASH. While this song is playing, the boys arrive by helicopter, and launch onto the stage to thunderous applause. I Love this song because it is so corny..... Hero saves the Universe, but not without being out in mortal danger first, and saving the girl.... You know how it goes........ 7/10 from me. 2) THE HERO. Quick, flashy, Great song to listen to. ...Annihilator are a Canadian thrash metal band, their debut album Alice In Hell was released in 1989. King Of The Kill is a great album to say the least. Annihilator really did do a great follow up album to Set The World On Fire (1993). King Of The Kill was released in 1994 however it has very late 1980's thrash sound. 'The Box' - This track has a fairly slow beat and is by no means the greatest track on the album, a very rhythm based track. 'King Of The Kill' - This track kicks off with a great thrash guitar riff which continues through the verses, the track is very based around this riff. Classic Thrash. 'Hell Is A War' - A Clean ballad style track to begin with, then the a slow thrash rhythm and the track speeds up towards the end. Then returns to the intro sytle ballad. ...This band has been recognized as one of the best death metal bands in the world at the moment. They combine the basic elements of the death metal genre, combine it with egyptian history and mythology and out comes some of the best music you would have heard in this genre in a while! The band have a very good understanding of their instruments and music in general because some of the music is amazingly well written, and has obviously taken time and care. They are the Beethoven's of Death Metal. They craft a unique sound wich is instantly recognizable that of egyptian sounding chord's and lead passages combined to create a very epic sound. On the album the band use an array of different instruments to gain that egyptian sound.
