Settin' The Pace - Dexter Gordon

Advantages: Unique Compositions and outstanding playin
Disadvantages: Not as much supporting instruments as just for seamus cd.

...Gordon Duncan (Highland bagpipe, chanter, whistles) with Neil Fergusson (bouzouki), Tony McManus (guitar), Ewan Vernal (bass) and John Scullion (snare drum). Produced by Tony McManus. Well what can i say, if you haven't heard this late great legend play then i do recommend buying this cd. I can honestly say that he was one of the best bagpipers in the world, and it was a huge shock when he passed away. His playing in this cd is phenomenal, from the traditional march, straspheys and reels, to his own unique compositions, one of which is the title name of this album. ...Barenaked Ladies got its start in 1988, when childhood friends Steven Page (vocals/guitar) and Ed Robertson (guitar) discovered they enjoyed singing together at summer camp. The idea for the band name (which the two were forced to defend repeatedly in the group's early years) came to them during a giggling fit at a Bob Dylan concert. After several months spent performing as opening act for a traveling comedy troupe, the duo recruited high school classmates (and brothers) Jim Creeggan (bass) and Andrew Creeggan (keyboards), and the foursome recorded a demo tape, titled Barenaked Lunch. Advantages: How can you have advantages on a C.D????
Disadvantages: I guess a bad point would be there are no vieos, but it has a lot of songs

...I reckon EMINEM is the best rapper out, okay not exactly a childs rapper, but who actually gives a s***t?I'm 12 (thirteen a week tommorrow) and all my friends love the Marshall Mathers Album. The only thing I don't like is Ken Kaniff. How sick is that?(for those who dont know Ken Kaniff is sound effects of Eminem getting sucked!) Okay maybe he isn't the best idol, maybe you shouldn't listen to him. Maybe he does do a bit too muchs. All I know is his mesic is damn good!!!!! I don't know why I like Eminem, I guess it's the way he strings his words together. All I know is I find my self humming or singing along to the songs. I have the special edition, unclean version and I play it all the time. As critics have said, Eminem has a verbal dexterity with words. If you listen carefully he makes words that don't rhyme, rhyme!
