Seven Easy Pieces – The Detroit Cobras

The Detroit Cobras formed in 1995 and released their first album “Mink Rat or Rabbit” in 1998. Currently the band consists of 5 members; Rachel Nagy on Piano and vocals, Mary Ramirez on Guitar, Nick Lucassian on Drums, Joey Mazzola on Guitar and Carol Schumacher on Bass. Only one of these members performed on “Seven Easy Pieces” and she is Rachel Nagy. The band has gone through ... ...however have always stuck with the same R&B, Motown, Soul and Rock and Roll roots, often just performing covers.
“Seven Easy Pieces” is an EP that was released by Rough Trade music in 2003 for the UK market and comprises entirely of little heard and B-side covers. It is a pretty short album sitting at 18 minutes 52 seconds but makes up for briefness in the quality of the music.
