Sewed Soles - Greenhornes (The)

Advantages: this album ROCKS
Disadvantages: will open your eyes to the shame of the world. Once your mind is free, you won't be able o return to the state of blissful ignorance.

...This is one of the best rock albums I've ever heard. The Battle of Los Angeles features the tracks "Guerilla Radio" as well as "Sleep Now in the Fire" and "New Millenium Homes" Not only is this highly inspiring and enteraining rock music, it makes points that need to be made. For the Sleep Now in the Fire video, Rage Against the Machine succeeded in closing down the Wall Street Stock Exchange, despite police interference and the arrest of the video director. They also covered the statue of George Washington in paint. For the Guerilla Radio video, children are shown putting clothes toghether with sewing machines against a white background like the Gap advertisment. The message "everyone in denial" then appears on screen. Back then it was the stock exchange. Could the rumours be true about 7pm tonight at the Republican Convention? I hope... Read review

...The latest offering from Eels is very good. The album to me is much better than previous and just needed a song such as novacain for the sole to make it a very, very good album. As it is it could do with maybe a song of novacain for the souls quality to make it a number 1 album. The best songs are probably flyswatter or I like birds as they are the easy to listen to songs that we have become to love. Overall a good album that could have been a little better... Read review

...I got this album over the internet as soon as it came out just for the sole reason that it's the new Dr. Dre album. Though I was a bit dubious about this album because of the fact that Since his first album, I felt that Dre was going downhill, as was the rest of hip-hop. This album proved me wrong, Dre, although a bit bitter is amazing. I actually love all the songs on this album, and having heard this, I just want to buy the new Eminem album as well as whatever Snoop decides to release next. Buy this album if you haven't already done so.... Read review
