This is one of them classic albums that your Mum and Dad will always say they love, and that in itself is a reason not to buy it. However, it's always best to ignore the hype and listen for yourself so i did, and Sgt Peppers is a great album, although i feel not really worthy of the ridiculous amount of hype its had since it's release. The album is very experimental and goes the psychedelic sounds in Lucy in the Sky with diamonds (nothing to do with LSD, merely based on a picture drawn by a little girl), to the Indian/popular music fusion in "within you without you." This is a very varied album, and if you want to hear the Beatles at their most experimental, buy it. If you want to hear the best guitar album they did, buy "Abbey road".
