Often Angsty Soul from the Southern Hummingbird

Advantages: a different voice in music, great singer, some great songs, lyrics supplied in cd inlay
Disadvantages: a couple more upbeat tracks wouldn't go amiss!, underrated artist

and tremblin', smoking cigarettes at night, wondering where you been" but also admits "no it ain't healthy, smokin', gotta quit." Other songs are less depressing - more sensual, for example, in the opening track "My Place", or more romantic like the beautiful, emotion-packed "Always Will". But the pain evident in Tweet's voice in the angry "Motel" packs more of a punch than the feelings in any of the other tracks, as she realises that her man has been unfaithful to her. Of course, there can be such a thing as emotional overload and Tweet and her producers evidently realised this as there are moments of light relief, a break from the intensity of the slower tunes. Songs from the sparkle lounge

Advantages: fresh, classic
Disadvantages: joe isnt seen on the dvd

I cannot offer any fault to this product. To start with, the casing is a fantastic idea. It is set out excellently and inside there is a booklet with information and photographs of the band. The first disc is the actual cd of Songs from the Sparkle Lounge and every track offers a different style of pure class! Whether you like soft rock ballads such as Love, hard rock heaven like Go or the mellow classic Photograph style of Hallucinate, this album has something for everyone. Just as you think it reaches a peak around Only the good die young, it tops itself with a fantastic metal sound from Bad Actress, adding to the fact that there really is no band like Def Leppard. As for the DVD disc, this includes a video of Nine Lives. Then it goes onto a track by track guide from guitarists Viv and Phil before finishing with a 40 minute ...
