Advantages: Every Star Trek Movie, in one Handy Box Disadvantages: There aren't enough hours in a day!
it, both done by Stuar Baird.
Then you have A bold vision of the final frontier, this shows you how they designed and built sets, and their thinking behind it all.
Next is, "a star trek families final journey". This is brilliant, you have all of the actors and actresses we have come to know and love throughout Generations giving their feelings and thoughts on the movie, how it was filmed, storylines etc.
Well we're not finished yet. you kthen have RED ALERT: shooting the action of nemesis, this also has actor and actress interviews, and shows you how they filemed some stunts, and peoples views of them.
Then Deleted scenes! Excellent there are 8 extra scenes cut from the movie, most of which I wish they had just made a three hour movie, as this was so good.
Last but not least is the Photo Gallery, this contains artwork ...
Advantages: A bit of fun Disadvantages: Not quality journalism
, for the five main terrestrial channels, and the main Sky cannels are listed only, in a less detailed listing. Charlie, will tell you what you watched last night, and what you thought of it, which is handy in case you missed it ,or have forgotten, and all your pals have seen it, and they?ll even give you a selection of what they think you should watch tonight in case you can?t make your mind up. Advantages: ....MMMM WELL LET ME SEE.... Disadvantages: BOB AND VIC
I suppose with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer - you either love them or hate them. Well sorry I'm not a fan. This show, a vehicle for their manic, disparaging 'humour' fails for me. It's not witty, just a pretend game show where the 'stars' are there to throw insults at their guests.
And then there is that George Daws bloke. Funny??? How???
He's just a bloke with a bald head who plays drums, dresses up as a baby and....well that's what he does.
I suppose maybe I'm not 'hip' enough to enjoy the show, but I like all sorts of comedy from Ali G, thru to sit coms, Monty Python etc. I like anarchic style humour and stand up, but this is 'none of the above'.
Sorry it's the off dial for me - pathetic ...
