Advantages: none Disadvantages: It made me very ill
...*Please read this review before doing the Gillian McKeith's 24 hour detox, as I experienced awful side effects!*
I read the enclosed leaflet and made sure I followed a strict food detox the week before doing the 24 hour detox over a weekend.
I started on a Friday evening and took the first 3 drinks as directed, including the 3 ½ fl oz olive oil one. (They tasted so foul I had to try and not throw them back up. They tasted salty with an extremely terrible after taste)
The horrible effects didn't really take hold until just going to bed at 10pm. My entire bowels opened up and it felt so painful like all my insides were coming out (in liquid form). I attempted to sleep after being on the loo for about 1 hour, but kept running back every 15mins for the next 2 hours. Finally got to sleep and woke up at 4am. I am so glad my partner...

Advantages: Dubious. Disadvantages: Oh god, don't get me started...
..., I came across Dr Gillian McKeith's 24 Hour Detox - a small box containing 4 sachets of powder that you mix with fruit juce and drink. Pretty simple, I thought, and you only have to take it for one day, along with just soup and fruit for your meals. And it was on a special offer, £10 instead of £20.
Dear, dear readers, there are very good reasons why companies reduce the price of products, and we're about to find out one of them.
The blurb on the back of the box recommends that you take the product on a weekend where you are not working. The first sachet is to be taken at 5pm on Friday night, followed by the second one at 9pm, the third one the next day at 9 am, and the last one at 1pm.
It also recommends being mixed with grapefruit juice, which I don't like that much, but I thought I'd better follow the instructions faithfully...

Advantages: amazing piano improvisation Disadvantages: not for people who don't appreciate improvisation
...One of the most respected pianists of our time, KeithJarrett, gives with the "Koln concert" a good definition of what improvisation is. Innovation, creativity, the feeling of uncertainty. KeithJarrett is the kind of pianist that emerged during the 60's deeply influenced by Bill Evans and got mixed up with all sorts of jazz styles: fusion, bop, funk, avant garde and even classical music. In this recording you can find all his musical influences, concentrated in an improvisational way, unfolding in front of your eyes, or maybe ears. The result is quite amazing, if you think that KeithJarrett wnated to actually cancel this concert because the piano that he was provided with, was not of top quality. For people who love piano and moreover improvisation in general, this is certainly a priority choice....
