This album became classical before it's release. As many of tracks have already been heard in public, everyone has already known, that right after the release it will be one of the genre's best. And Bad Company did not dissapoint anyone.

The sound of Bad Company here is so refined and polished that it leave no question about the reasons they dominate the scene. They create living examples of what drum'n'bass should be. Each track was worked out as much as it was needed to reach it's perfect state. The quality of sound here is simply exceptional - and nothing else was expected from Bad Company.

The opener "Mo' Fire" boasts with blazing MCing by Spyda and Navigator. Deep bass sound and very agressive beat along with that create perhaps the most dynamic track here, and one of the best d'n'b titles with MCing ever written.
The following "Hornet" is perhaps the most popular here. It had been shaking dancefloors for quite a long time. Not too much effects here, but combination of heavy bass and straightforward beat create all the action.
The next one, "Wednesday" features beautiful female vocals and nice guitar samples. Generally, it is a very moody track with a soft beat. Nevertheless, it is pretty rhythm is pretty fast and fluent and the track is groovy.
"Dogsploitation" is made in a very dark spirit and is a fine example of the variety of styles Bad Company can succesfully work in.
"Torpedo" sounds heavily anthemic. Bassline here is the strongest on the album and combined with jump-up beats creates a whole thriller.
But the next one, "Dr. Shevago" is another experiment. It is pretty soft and moody again, with fine latin samples make it sound funny indeed. Yet the beat here is also strong and track can nevertheless rock you hard.
"Snow Cat" is heavily packed with deep bass sound that make the general flow really strong and agressive.
The last one, "Jellybean" is another experiment with style, but this experiment is also very succesful. A very strong finishing.

The second CD is just a well compiled mix of all of these tracks.

The only bad thing about the album is its size - only 9 tracks. But the quality of these make all of them real classics and their author - living legends. A must have fot everyone who is into drum'n'bass culture.

Nice review...not really my type of thing, I prefer the drums and bass in metal music ;-) Cheers, Ewan.
