Dan Stein, aka Bad Company. Over the last three
years they have managed to set the jungle scene
ablaze with a consistent barrage of firin'
drum&bass tunes. They have achieved digital
domination of the genre's dance floors by merging
bellicose basslines with Sounds of the Apocalypse
and a production sheen that's so polished you can
see your face in it.Safarishows a more diverse
side to the crew. Tracks such as "Dogsploitation"
(a splicing of Swift's "Blaxploitation" and their
own "Dogs on the Moon"), "The Hornet" and "Snow
Cat" show that the quartet are still prone to the
odd hard-as-nails headbanger, but there is much
more besides. The opening track "Mo' Fire"
(featuring vocals from $pider and Navigator) is a
pretty nostalgic roller, boosted by potent ragga
basslines and adrenalin-fuelled percussion. There
are guitar licks and soulful vocals on "Wednesday"
and even a little samba on "Dr Schevago". BC have
never sounded so versatile, and they are all the
better for it. --Paul Sullivan

Bad Company - Good company!

Advantages: fun good humoured game
Disadvantages: very basic plot.

Bad Company is refreshing in many ways, one great advantage is that it doesn't try and take itself too seriously. It seems that those who have made it have done their very best to concentrate on fun. Gameplay: The controls are much like any other first person shooter, they are simple and easy to get used to. It is fast paced and flows nicely. Even if you find yourself riddled with bullets you simply respawn seconds later a little way from the action. Occasionaly this can be a little annoying traipsing to battle if you are spawned a little too far away. The other downside is you respawn with what ever ammo you had when you died, which if it is very low, leads to a lot more death. It was very fun to play with many humorous moments, with entertaining characters ( i will get to later). It's biggest downfall, if it is to be ...

Review of Battlefield: Bad Company (Xbox 360)

Welcome To Bad Company

Advantages: Frostbite engine, online play
Disadvantages: Single player isnt the best compared to Call of Duty 4

Battlefield bad company is 1 of many in the battlefield series. They started out on the battlefield 1942 which was quite a hit back in 2002. Since then the series has gone on to bigger and better things, moving to the console market with Battlefield: Modern Combat in 2005 (total rubbish game but thats another story) Now the developers DICE (Based in Sweden) have come up with bad company. This is a new area which the war game producers haven't really explored before. With a whole new platform for gaming and never really before used humour in Battlefield. 'B' company is the 'cannon fodder' of the US army. Often used as an alterative to a military prison they are often forced to go in even before the Special Forces. You play as private Preston Marlowe and join the company at the start of the game. You meet your squad which consists ...

Who's keeping bad company?

Advantages: Enjoyable story with great characters
Disadvantages: Slow start

. She has lost all her family in what has been a challenging and often sad life. Finally she has found a flat she can afford to rent having lived rough and in squats. She is an unemployed actress who will to make ends meets embark on private investigations. She is waiting for her friend Ganish at Marylebone Station, when a down and out called 'Alkie' Albie sits next to her. After buying him a coffee this stranger starts to tell her about him witnessing a young lady being kidnapped. He is unwilling to report this to the Police, so Fran does it on his behalf. They laugh at this story seeing him as a drunk who has either made up the story or even imagined it. As a result Fran decides she will try and resolve the mystery. No sooner has she done this but Albie's body is recovered from the river. The Police think he fell in while drunk but ...
