This review is about my time at the magnificent and luxury hotel the Burj Al Arab. I was lucky enough to spend two nights at this hotel during New Years Eve and New Years day 2008/2009. I had a friend who?s dad did a tone of import export business and thus I even managed to stay their for free, yes that?s right for free, under the condition that I paid for all my own food, and drink, which I was more than happy to at the time.
Now everyone has either heard about this hotel, been their or at least seen the pictures of what it looks like, and let me tell you its even more breathtaking in real life. Most people are surprised when they hear about my musical tastes. Most see me as someone purely into heavy metal, my friends as heavy metal and clasic rock, but even my very close friends don't seem to understand how far my taste goes. I have always loved every type of metal and some rap and dance but it is only recently when i discovered the wonders of 70's Soul and funk. Advantages: Great Acting, excellent story Disadvantages: Some sad scenes of the Afghan suffering
discover they were not when they picked them up. I thought the adults who were spoken to managed to put their suffering across in a very poignant way and at times I did feel extremely sorry for them.
The scenes which show the Afghan people fighting against the Russians were filmed and shot with great detail and they were all believable and did not look altered or computer animated in any way.
