Sigh No More [Digipak] - Mumford & Sons

I will keep this short and snappy for your benefit. I was not always a huge fan of folk music. However, with the wake of bands such as Fleet Foxes and artists such as Bon Iver coming on the scene in a big way in recent years, the timing of another mainstream folk band such as the above could not be any better.

This is an outstanding album if the foregoing applies to you. The debut album from Mumford & Sons has many pleasing elements. ...

They depict a sound almost too remiscent to the folk sounds that have come out of North America in recent years; which is largely influenced by the strikingly raptuous banjo playing thorughout the album. However, this London based, yes London based band certainally deliver. Nearly every song on the album is rapturous and is packed to the rafters with eloquent rifts and melodies that become infectious making you wanting to listen to them over and over again with the best pick being 'Sigh No More', 'Little Lion Man' and 'Winter Winds' to name a few. The first time I personally listened to this12 track album thoughout I felt compelled to press play again (a rarety in my book).

An easy and pleasurable experience for what its worth.
