Dirty dancing soundtrack
Review of Dirty Dancing - Original Soundtrack by
Charleygreen16
Advantages: an amzing compilation of some of the best 80's songs ever
Disadvantages: Sticks In Your Head ALL DAY
...This is the amazing soundtrack to the classic 80's film youve all seen ! The cd has twelve tracks on it which are all boppy and great to sing along to ! There are several great tracks on this c.d but i think the best is the first track : (i've Had)The Time Of My Life, by bill medley & jennifer warnes, others include : Be My Baby byThe ronettes, She's like the wind by patrick swayze and Hungry eyes by eric carmen The only bad thing is that they all get stuck in your head alday. This is quite a cheap c.d and an amazing compilation of great 80's tracks. I would definatly recommend this soundtrack. It would also make a great present for all those dirty dancing lovers out there (well those that don't already have it !). So get This C.d! Oh and Nobody Puts Baby In the Corner !!!!!!!!...

Disappointing
Review of Wild Planet - B-52's (The) by
dave27
Advantages: Some good stuff
Disadvantages: Losing their way
...A second B-52’s album, Wild Planet, was released in September 1980, and proved to be a major disappointment; only the occasional track like Quiche Lorraine recalled the verve of its predecessor and, at the end of 1981, the B-52’s balloon began to deflate.

It was sad, and they were not to recover their form for years to come. However, they will be remembered for their music which was a bizarre and intriguing blend of styles, a subtle but stirring mixture of the Ronettes, Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band and Cuban drum music, while...

The best soundtrack
Review of Dirty Dancing (Ultimate Dirty Dancing) [ECD] - Various Artists by
carrie483
Advantages: All the songs
Disadvantages: Some less popular songs
...Ultimate Dirty Dancing is the only soundtrack which has all the songs featured in this amazing film. There are 26 songs in all (the original soundtrack had 12!)ranging from acoustic Time of my life to the slightly annoying Kellermans Anthem - you know, the song they *try* to sing before the main dance sequence at the end.
The best thing about this cd is the added bonus of the songs being in the order that they appear in the film so if (like me) you've seen the film a thousand times and know it like the back of your hand then whilst you listen you can imagine each scene in your head.
Be My Baby-The Ronettes
Big Girl's Don't Cry-Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
Merengue-Michael Lloyd & Le Disc
Trot The Fox-Michael Lloyd & Le Disc
Johnny's Mambo-Michael Lloyd & Le Disc
