Disadvantages: Not my favourite stand up

When browsing through HMV a couple of months ago now, I found myself in the mood for trying something a bit different. I am a huge comedy fan, and knew that I wanted something from this genre, but not something that I?d ever seen before. I had a look through a lot of the stand up comedy DVDs, and ended up picking this Chris Rock DVD for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was only £5, which was pretty good since most standup offerings cost a tenner if not more, and with my student discount it would only set me back £4.50; secondly, I?ve only ever really seen British and Irish comedians? shows before, and so fancied something from over the pond; and thirdly, I?d heard great things about Chris Rock, and every time I?d seen a clip of one of his shows I thought that it looked great. Review of Chris Rock - Never Scared (DVD)

Boundary Mill

Advantages: Excellent range of goods and clothing
Disadvantages: not enough for the younger shopper

General Information ----------------------- Boundary Mill, is an out let store selling men's and ladies wear for a reduced price compared to shop prices. There are many of these outlet stores around the UK.Boundary Mill has several outlet stores, in Newcastle, Colne, Walsall and Grantham. I visited the Walsall store as it is the closest one to me. It opened 1st November 2003 and it's the newest store. How to get there ------------------ Boundary Mill, Wasall is located just off Junction 10 of the M6. It is on the Black Country Route. As you come off the motorway turn left at the traffic lights and follow the AA signs to the store. It is very easy to find and is located in an industrial estate. Review of Boundary Mill

End of the (Rock Island) Line?

Advantages: good original folk rock
Disadvantages: nothing new for the established fan

it should make for a good product yes? Well its not bad, everything seems to be as it should, but it doesnt grab you. There seem not to be the vitality of the earlier albums i mentioned above. Dont get me wrong, the music is intricate and original, but if you have listened to a lot of Tull, as I have, it seems to offer little new, there are no obvious classics in the making. Lyrically you are on familiar ground, songs about the characters of the old world are still there, struggling fishermen, cattlemen and loners. The constant wilderness imagary, the open seas, the highlands, the dusty trail are still evident, even as anologies of more urban tales. Also the humour is also evident, Kissing Willie is too obvious even to be called an inuendo. One touching line was: "the wino sleeps-cold coat lined with the money section looking like ...
