It seems that they are absolutely huge in their native Australia, and have been featured on screens in the UK for a few years, primarily through exposure on GMTV and The Discovery (Kids) Channel. They are now reaching a new set of fans thanks to their show being shown every weekday on Nick Junior.
Through various adventures in each episode, we follow the Wiggles as they sing and dance their way through each programme. Catchy and inventive, the songs are the annoying type that will have you singing at work all day. Trust me, when you get caught singing: ?Fruit salad, yummy yummy.?, you deserve any stick you get from colleagues!

Advantages: Informative, entertaining and loads of fun Disadvantages: Full range of DVD's not yet available, but improving.
Question: What has eight legs, is multi-coloured and sings with an Australian accent?
Answer: The Wiggles, as unlikely a group of singing stars as you are likely to meet.
Who are they?:
They are four Australian "blokes" each distinguished by the colour of their individual shirts (skivvies), Anthony wears blue, Jeff prefers purple, Greg chose the yellow option and Murray favours red, they all wear identical black trousers and shoes.
Additionally they each have personality traits which single them out further, Anthony loves his food, Greg does magic tricks, Murray plays his guitar and Jeff sleeps and sleeps!

It is nearly 5 years ago now that I had my first child Christopher, I was very lucky and had many gifts bought for him but one of the things I bought for him myself was the Playgro Wiggling Giraffe, that was in 2004 and now in 2009 the same giraffe is entertaining my 3rd child just as well as it did my first.
The Playgro Wiggling Giraffe is a simple toy designed to clip onto buggys, pram hoods, play gym bars etc.... it is an adorable stuffed giraffe with a pull cord attatched to a chunky claw like clasp. When the toy is pulled, straightening the cord, and the giraffe released it slowly winds the cord back in making the giraffe wiggle away until the cord is fully rewound.
