Elv1s 30 Number 1 hits delivers exactly what it says in the title. This CD is my hubbies and i must say I have been very plesantly suprised by the songs featured on it. 40 years of Number 1's covered, about 4 worth a listen

Advantages: Will appeal to people of many ages
Disadvantages: They might not like what they hear

. Generally, I don't listen to the radio anymore, so that's probably the reason for this. The front cover depicts a huge number 1 (the number, not urine) with 4 music-playing appliances, from the past 40 years, surrounding it. Quite a good use of imagery, I felt; indeed, the inlay card, depicts a timeline of the past 40 years, including notable events in Radio 1's history, and dotted around, a few of the songs from the album. I don't even know why I bought this album - in fact, its typical of me, I went to Tesco for a 12-pack of toilet roll, and came out with this monstrosity. At £13.99, it wasn't exactly cheap, and I had to stop at the Spar on the way home to buy some loo roll, as I had forgotten it, and you know what their prices are like. I just felt compelled to buy it, almost as if I had no control over what I was doing. I imagine this ...

Bee Gees No 1's

Advantages: Great mix of songs
Disadvantages: Not for everyone

I originally bought this album for my Dad for his birthday as he loves the Bee Gees and I had to grow up listening to their songs. What a massive suprise I got when my husband saw it and said he would like to get it for himself! Having bought him a copy and had to listen to it in the car I have become quite a little fan of this album. The Bee Gees has given us 20 great songs from all times of the career. 19 of the 20 songs made it to the number one spot in the charts.
