Over the years the chemical brothers have made some outstanding music and are one of the only electronic dance acts who are able to hold large sell out live acts.

Not only have their singles always been a huge success in the UK charts but many of their singles have also been famous worldwide and are a very popular choices in the night clubs abroad.

The album starts of with their earliest single release Song To The Siren which started of as a release on the DJ circuit but soon became very popular and kicked off the big beat phenomenon which rapidly grew popular with other artists like the prodigy and fatboy slim doing the same. The track is very loud and has solid beat with sirens and melodiesall in sync.

The album then progresses with their next two big hits Chemical Beats and Leave Home which both have a similar sound to Song To The Siren with more big beats and bass lines and in Leave Home a neat guitar sample.

The next three tracks Setting Sun, Block Rockin' Beats and The Private Psychedelic Reel are singles taken from their highly acclaimed album Dig Your Own Hole and include more of the same big beats and bass lines but with furthered use of funky guitar samples like in their earlier single Leave Home.

Hey Boy Hey Girl is up next from the album Surrender, this is an amazing track and was number 1 worldwide, another great achievement by the chemicals. There is a nice beat and a catchy electronic tune in this track, it was destined to be a huge success in the clubs.

Other singles on this album from Surrender include Let Forever Be with vocals from the great Noel Gallagher, and Out Of Control which was another huge hit in the charts.

There are also two more singles on this compilation taken from their fourth album Come With Us, these are Star Guitar which has a nice fluent groove throughout and The Test which is more of a rock collaboration but is still a nice listen.

Finally at the end of the album there are two new singles Get Yourself High which i feel is more back to their old roots and The Golden Path which has a nice melody and vocals from The Flaming Lips to acompany it.

I recommend this album to all and need i say it to all chemical brothers fans, its a must have in your collection. Although there is a version with a bonus second disc which features 11 tracks including Galaxy Bounce, Morning Lemon, Loops Of Fury and 2 live performances to mention a few, so definatly look out for this, its not to be missed!
