I am not really a DeepPurple fan but I can't help but be amazed by the awesome talents of each of the members. Everybody seems to work hard and excellently in this album.
THE POWERVOICE
David Coverdale has great vocals. I love him when he sings with his classic natural base-signature voice. He does well in with his high-pitched songs but he misses it sometimes when he hits it really high. It's good that the instruments are played so loud that most listeners haven't noticed it. But even then, David Coverdale has a very powerful voice.
A MUSIC TREASURE
This DeepPurple Made In Europe album is really hard to find nowadays in retail stores and the songs are rarely heard anywhere. I realized then that I am actually possessing a treasure of the DeepPurple band by having this CD

Advantages: Great mixture of songs Disadvantages: burn should have been live
the years DeepPurple never strayed from the type of music they were famed for.
This cd has various songs from those line ups and is a studio album of what i consider all their best tunes.
The Songs
1)Black night:....
Made as a chart single in 1970 it reached number 2 and is probably one of the most recognised DeepPurple tracks.
2)Speed King....
Taken from the1970 number 4 chart album 'In Rock' its a fast paced song and has excellent drum and keyboard throughout and a great one for those friday nights to put you in the mood for going out.
3)Fireball...
Taken from the album of the same name which charted at number one in 1971 its another pacy song with brilliant drums and keyboards and lyrically good.
4)Strange Kind Of Woman....
Charting as a single in 1971 this is a medium paced song which centres around a woman ...
