Since reviewing the Platinum collection double cd i thought it would be appropriate to do the same with the Queen dvd.I dug it out of the archives,had a watch and still enjoyed it as much as i always did.Sometimes it pays to not overplay any music you have as it then tends to become a little boring.It must be a couple of years since i watched this so this is my view on what i consider to be an excellent dvd. The design....... This dvd case is designed in black with the now famous four band members in their traditional 'Bohemian Rhapsody' pose.The four faces bearing no hint of a smile highlighted against a dark background.Above is the title designed in silver text which stands out nicely on the black background.The back cover has the song listings in white text and again on a black background. Queen Platinum Collection

Advantages: 51 songs of quality

Love them or hate them Queen will always be a group that will stay in the memory of our generation,simply because their success throughout the years has echoed around discos and parties when we were younger,karaoke machines nationwide or stealing the show at live aid some twenty odd years ago.you know that you could always name a Queen track if asked to do so.I am writing this review with an open mind and having played this cd many times this is my opinion. May i point out that this review is for the platinum collection that was released in 2000 then re-released in 2006 with the new cd cover in a platinum coloured cardboard sleeve.There is no difference to the content of the cd's THE PACKAGING........ A silver coloured 3 cd set with the three greatest hits albums displayed on the front with the simple Queen name above ...

A great collection

This is the hardest thing i'm going to be reviewing for quite some time so i'm going to keep it simple. The Singles collection contains ten disks. Nine released singles and one unreleased. In total there are 44 songs. Many of which are bonus tracks and don't appear on albums. I'm going to list the songs in sections of which single they are on and write a bit about each single to save you reading a 50 000 word review. Gone with the Sin 1. Gone with the Sin (Radio edit) 2. Gone with the Sin (O.D Version) 3. For You (Accoustic Version) 4. Bury me Deep inside Your Heart (Live) 5. Gone with the Sin (Album version) The highlight of this album is the Radio edit of "Gone with the Sin". I think that it would be the album version but i'v heard it a lot on the album.
