chart, notching up no less than seventeen Top 40 hits while managing to outlive many of their contemporaries. This album brings together a selection of these releases while including the new recording 'Lost And Found'.
Advantages: Awesome in every single way. Disadvantages: Nothing at all.
Just to get this straight... I am a massive Feeder fan, and have followed them from the very start. I still love their tunes to date, therefore just proving how good Feeder's consistency is. This album is jampacked with all Feeder's best tracks, but there are some which I think may be missing, but the one's on here are still amazing.
_Tracks_
1. Come Back Around. This track has a superb beat, with great guitar backing. The lyrics ... ...amazing guitar bits in it. 9/10.
2. Buck Rogers. I always remember this song from playing on Gran Turismo. I put it on repeat and left it on the whole time. The lyrics are strange, but in a good way. Again the guitar backing lives up to expectations. So, lets all drink cider from a lemon. 9/10

This album is jampacked with all Feeder's best tracks, but there are some which I think may be missing, but the one's on here are still amazing.
Tracks 1. Come Back Around. This track has a superb beat, with great guitar backing. The lyrics are excellent also and the chorus has an even more amazing guitar bits in it. 9/10.
2. Buck Rogers. I always remember this song from playing on Gran Turismo. I put it on repeat and left it on the whole time. The lyrics are strange, but in a good way. Again the guitar backing lives up to expectations. So, lets all drink cider from a lemon. 9/10
3. Shatter. Right from the very start this track grips you, and doesn't let go right until the end. The chorus is great, and changes into it from the verses excellently. 8/10
4. Just the way I'm feeling. Everything about this song is brilliant, including the name. I love the way it changes from slower and calming in the verses, to faster in the chorus. But the change is so cleverly done, that it's hard to notice. That is because you should be too busy admiring the song. 10/10
5. Lost and Found. One of Feeder's most recent tracks, yet again they do not fail to fill expectations. The start of the song is superb and usually gets me clapping along. Personally I think this track is more of a 'grower on me' but I now love it almost as much as Feeder's older stuff. 8/10
6. Just a Day. This is definitely one of Feeder's faster tracks, but if you can keep up with the lyrics, you will be impressed. Again as usual, Feeder manage to fulfill there amazing reputation so far on this album. Another cracker from the band. 9/10
7. High. The opposite to the previous track, this is one of Feeder's slower tracks. What I love about Feeder is their ability to do slower and faster tracks to the same ability. This track is outstanding, I can listen to it over and over again without getting bored. 10/10
8. Comfort in Sound. I only have one thing to say about this track. It definitely gives me comfort in listening to it's sound. Superb. 10/10
9. Feeling a Moment. I love the start of this song. It's perfect. Jumps straight into the music and gets you going. The lyrics on this track are also great. That's another thing I love about Feeder. All their lyrics are great and make sense, plus you can understand what they are saying. 9/10
10. Burn the Bridges. It just keeps going. The consistency is so good. It just doesn't stop. Im almost certain that every song I have heard by Feeder (pretty much all of them, including acoustic and promo version), is amazing. I just don't know how they do it. 9/10
11. Tumble and Fall. I love this track. I know I keep saying the lyrics are great, but it's true, they have done it again, they are brilliant. The guitar backing here is again superb as always. The drum beat is simple but really effective and works really well. 10/10
12. Forget About Tomorrow. It just keeps getting better. I don't know what I will do if Feeder ever fail to produce a bad track. I will be amazed, because I have never heard one. I love the instrument in the background on this one; not entirely sure what it is, but it adds a great touch to the track. 10/10
13. Tender. One word. Wow. Ok two more words. Great work. 9/10
14. Pushing the senses. Well this track definitely pushes my hearing the sense, and that's for the better. It's amazing. Superb. Intriguing. Excellent. Breath-taking. Immense. 10/10
15. Save Us. This is another slower one from Feeder (apart from the chorus). I like it because it's calming, yet gets you going at the same time. I am going to put that one down to the drum beat in the background. 9/10
16. Seven days in the Sun. I often think this track is very similar to Buck Rogers, but after listening to them a lot they are very unique in their own great way. My favourite line: 'he likes to cross dress every friday night with clothes from prada'. Songs don't usually make me laugh but I'm pretty sure when I first heard this one it did. 8/10
17. Insomnia. This is probably the track I have least listened to on the whole album. Which is a shame really, because I just started recently listening to it again and realised how excellent it actually was. My hat is off once again to you Feeder. Great work. 9/10
18. Turn. I would describe this track as 'abstract'. It's great. It's different, but different in a good way, if you can understand what I mean. 9/10
19. Yesterday went to soon. I always know what song it is when it comes on. Straight away. I don't know why, but it's a good thing, because everyone wants to know what it is so they can buy it, and I can tell them. Everybody wins. Great tune. Super drum beat in the background; it gives it that edge. 10/10
20. Suffocate. I don't think they have saved the best until last. That is probably the only criticism you will ever hear about Feeder from my lips. Its also pretty good. But however, I don't like it as much as the others. So therefore it will be the only one rated below an 8. Still good. 7 and a half / 10.
Overall This album is utterly amazing, and no music collection is complete without it. There is a great mix of tracks that will appeal to anyone and everyone. Everything down to the artwork is brilliant. Especially the pose on the front. Very vintage. It is a must buy. I urge you, buy it. I will buy it for you if you are a Feeder skeptic, and prove to you just how good they really are. An overall 10 out of 10. But it, or I will buy it for you, just to show how good Feeder really are.
Advantages: All of their best songs from over the years on one disc Disadvantages: still new, so hard to get hold of cheaply
...into their own with the singles, "Buck Rogers", and "Seven Days In The Sun" which immediadely became huge anthems, and recieved a great deal of airtime with their energetic and catchy riffs, verses and chord progressions. The simple composition of these songs and others on the album made them easy to listen to, and budding musicians could play along at home.It looked like they were going to just get bigger and bigger when on January 7th 2002, tragedy ... ...a while the future of the band was uncertain, but after a few months to come to terms with the loss, it was decided to carry on.
And so came the release in 2002/3? of Comfort In Sound, a tribute to John Lee, and a fitting commemoration of his life, with more mellow and reflective songs, containg many of the emotions the remaining band members, friends and family must have gone through. It is evident from a lot of the lyrics that they had somehow ...

Advantages: All of their greats on just one disc Disadvantages: They did not include the track 'Descend'
For Diehard Feeder fans, such as myself, this is the release that has long been desired. Although most Feeder followers will probably already own all of their previous albums it is definetly not a waste of money just simply because now the best range from across the albums is all on one disc. So no more disc juggling whilst your driving, on more room in your car. Even if your not a complete Feeder 'nut', but you enjoy the ocasional bedroom mosh to ... ...'Buck Rogers'. Or even if you just like to relax to 'Just the Way I'm Feeling' or 'Tumble and Fall' then I strongly recommend that you buy this album. Purely because deep down everyone has a place for Feeder in the vast library of catchy songs stuck in their mind and this album includes the best of them. If your not convinced yet then you'll be thrilled it also includes two new bonus tracks:

Advantages: Great Feel Good CD with great lyrics Disadvantages: None that I can think of
I didn't really know a lot about this band. I happened to be in HMV when one of their songs were playing. I ummed and arred about buying it and eventually put it on my Christmas list. I have to say, I was not disappointed. If you are into heavy stuff, then this is for you. I do not own any other Feeder albums so I have none of their other stuff to compare it too, but this album contains all their hits. My favourite tracks have to be Comfort and Sound, ...

Advantages: Great song, gets you up, fast and catchy Disadvantages: None
Just a Day is the latest single from British Rock band Feeder, a strong contender for the best track ever from one of my favourite bands says a lot, and this is sheer quality showing the bands talent and rise in all its glory.
What can I say about the song? It is great, full of energy, great guitars, fast drumming a catchy melody (do, doo, do, doo, do) that will stick in your head and you just feel the need to get up. Starts off with the catchy part, bursting into life with the verses full of roaring guitars that keeps going so fast you wonder how they can keep up. A great song live, the backing vocals are excellent and generally the guitars are pumping to keep the track going. Tough to describe, just listen to it.
Lyric wise this shows glimpses of the little phrases that Grant can do. It is not the most lyrically based song from ...
Advantages: 1.Absolutely superb 2. great cover Disadvantages: none
When I think of Feeder, it is of a group who have fought hard to get where they really deserve, only making it (to any huge extent) with their third album ?Echo Park?, and then grasping their fame with all of their hands when releasing the latest album ?Comfort in Sound?, which I think is one of the most emotional pieces of music I have ever heard. To survive the suicide of one of their members arguably when they were just confirming their status of one of the main British rock bands around was amazing, and to come as strongly as they did was a lesson to everyone that if you believe in yourself you really can do pretty much anything.
This, for me, is the song that put them where they are right now. ?Just a Day? is quite simply an outstanding song that always puts me in a good mood when I hear it. And isn?t that what makes a legendary ...
Advantages: All the videos and most of the band's best work in one package Disadvantages: Does not contain Paperfaces, the band's best song
This package includes the same songs as the standard edition of the singles, but also contains a dvd of all the bands videos. The original cd itself is very strong, and, being a singles collection, keeps a high standard of songwriting throughout. The only disapointment is it lacks all the singles (with the band cutting out all their least favourites) and so misses some of the band's earlier work. However, these songs are contained on the dvd. The single version of Paperfaces is the outstanding song on the dvd, and you can browse all the videos, from the highly original and comic Just a Day, to the serious Just The Way I'm Feeling, to the very cheap (but amusing to watch) early videos. This package itself is excellent, and due to the high quality of the songs, is one that would be recommended to both fans wanting the dvd and non ...
