Just when gcse/a-level students start to think they are cool and great philosephers on life they think they know all about good music and whats not, this is the kind of album they buy. Advantages: Eminently listenable with the right attitude Disadvantages: Not for everyone
....
It was in September 1985 that the news of the long expected split was released through the music press. Apparently at this stage the split was said to be amicable, artistic differences being blamed.
It was about this time that Patricia Morrison (formally of Gun Club and at the time playing with the Fur Bible) was rumoured to be going to work with Eldrich in the near future.
That should have been that, with each of the former band members going their separate ways to do their own projects, as mentioned earlier Gary Marx had formed Ghostdance and Hussey and Adams were forming their own band. But this is where it starts to get interesting, what happened next will go down in Indie history as one of the strangest set of goings on ever.
The music press loved it, with every new twist and turn gleefully splashed over the cover of the NME and Melody Maker etc...

Advantages: a popular variety of trance and house Disadvantages: some of it is very cheesy and over played on the radio
...The Annual 2004 is full of those cheesy trance tracks you hear at a under 8's disco. CD 1 has tracks that are way over played on the radio and to be honest i was disappointed when i first heard those same old songs. However, a couple of fresh songs are there, i.e. Steve Maurno, Passion, which cheered me up after the intial let down. CD 2 offers a couple of classic house tracks that made the crowd go wild in the clubs a couple of years ago. But, most of it is not anything new and records we have heard enough. I felt a couple of tracks do not make up for the other 30 and the £15 spent was a waste of money. Mind you it is useful for the local travelling discjockey....
