Advantages: Lots of great titles Disadvantages: No general mood
...This CD was supposed to be a first really massive compilation of drum'n'bass all time best titles. And it did a good job. But it definetly could have done much better.
It's obvious that Andy C wanted to represent d'n'b of all the kinds in his compilation. Here we will find some great jump-up tracks, some funky stuff, some moody tracks and some easy to hear ambient d'n'b. But this also results in an absence of a general mood of a compilation, of some idea that could make these tracks stand together. There's nothing like that here, and fading of some tracks to the others sometimes looks simply odd. Another thing is that although good titles are in good numbers here, there are too much weak ones between them.
Because of these two things we have the biggest disadvantage of both CD's: although great tracks are included and the mixing...

Advantages: One of the very best albums from a band who deserved better than "cult" Disadvantages: Not much effort put in by the record company on the packaging front
...akin to John Barry spy film music, are totally inspired. As the years went by, even Partridge started admitting what a good job Rundgren had done; "Perhaps I fought (with him) too hard. One bunker, two fuhrers".
But the finest track from the sessions wasn't originally on the released album at all. Advantages: Much harder that Vol 1, Anne Savage really shows she can do it! Disadvantages: There has to be some disadvantages but im not making any!
...Anne Savage makes a come back...crank the bass up high and enjoy! This has to be one of my favourite albums by Euphoria and always will be! It's much harder & faster than Frantics Vol 1. remixs are totally different from the other albums, which make it one of the best! Hard house fans will love this, and you'll instantly get hooked and captivated into choice of mixes this is a must by album!
Cd 1 (Future Frantic) certainly gets you in the mood! With tunes like "Music is the drug", Savage really experimented with this cd and her mixes worked to a great standard! Alot of people really like this cd and i can see why! Cd 3, again, has to be my favourite, (Classic Bounce) and boy is it bouncy! Andy Whitby really wow'ed everyone with his mixes and left evryone wanting more of his bouncy tracks! "systemsux", "Fantasic thing", "Feel so good...
