Slave of My Mind is a dark and twisted journey into the sub consciousness mind. This second album from Kiko is a mixture of Italo techno, electro and house. You can almost say it has a gothic feel to it with undertones of Depeche Mode and Blue Monday's, but in a much darker sense. This is generally music to make you feel parodied or feel unease, but, don't let that put you off the album, though. The most accessible single is the self titled 'Slave of My Mind', long distorted electro notes, keyboard sample loops, driving bass line and Benoit Bollini's vocals preaching voice, this pretty much sets the tone for Kiko's album, a dark mind trip. If don't believe me, check out the video to Slave of My Mind on Youtube, pretty much sums it up in my opinion.
Quite honestly there's not much more a can really say about the album, I can honestly say that most tracks will get played in The Arches or Sub Club on big nights at some point. But, to listen to it while you're getting ready to go to these places is a good idea. But not after (remember the paranoid thing).
Personal highlighted tracks for me are: Perludia, So Time, Slave of My Mind and World End Rock Up
