Advantages: Great accomodation, great food, friendly and helpful staff
Disadvantages: Closed from November to March

. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and we also had an en-suite bathroom complete with bath / shower toilet, wash hand basin and so on. The en-suite bathroom although small was comfortable and contained everything we needed including the usual complimentary toiletries and was also heavily decorated with mahogany panelling on the bathtub and a mahogany toilet sea and so on. The style and décor was very traditional and elegant throughout and best of all the whole place was spotless. The Bar facilities The hotel although a quiet country retreat in most respects has a bar which is open to both guests and locals throughout the season and has only just begun to hold entertainment evenings to try and generate more local interest and obviously business for the hotel. Small Hotel - Big Character

Advantages: Comfortable Small Hotel with Character
Disadvantages: A tiny lift!

nights for the price of 2 deal when it included a Saturday night. So what was it like:- It's a tiny hotel - only 40 odd rooms, which I always find much more comfortable than some of the bigger hotels where you just feel lost. As you would expect with a name like Hotel Tiffany, it's full of Tiffany style lamps and Art Nouveau features - including things like the headboards. My room was at the top of the hotel - floor 5. I could get the very, very small lift to the 4th floor, but I had to walk up the last flight - not too bad unless you've got lots of luggage - or you get the porter to take it up! My room was under the eaves, with exposed beams - very pretty. There is an air conditioning unit in every room, so if you want to fling open the windows and breathe in Swiss air, you can, but if not, there is always the machine way ...

People who have dry or oily skin and find that the scent of perfumes don't really last on their skin may benefit from using the complimentary bath and body products before applying the perfume; as this would give the scent a base to layer itself upon therefore increasing the longevity of the scent.
