Kids In Glass Houses have come up with the groundbreaking new debut album "Smart Casual", that will surely mark the first steps in their road to success. One of the first things that struck me about this album was that pretty much any of the songs could have been singles - this band is definitely all killer and no filler. Aled Phillips' vocals on every single track is near flawless, and remind me of both Ian Watkins (LostProphets) and Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) - although the lyrics aren't particularly meaningful. The tracks "Gimme What I Want" and "Easy Tiger" are definitely dangerously infectious, and their catchy vocals and melodies will have you frantically nodding your head and tapping your feet within a matter of seconds. As far as Welsh bands go, KIGH are surely one of the best since Funeral For A Friend & LostProphets. Be warned - these guys are going to be big!
