friends with Mike Wazowski and the pair always manage to generate the most power. A fellow employee Randall is jealous of their success and Mike and Sulley catch him one night creepy round the factory and messing about with children's doors.
To cut a long story short a small very cute child called Boo ( named by Sulley who becomes very attached) enters the monsters world via her door which sets alarm bells ringing when the monsters find out because they fear for their safety. Mike and Sulley on the over hand become very attached to her and do anything in their power to help her return home through her own door.
The film in my opinion is excellent. I think this is Pixar's best film. I love the characters. It is such a well put together film and the whole story is brilliant . The animation looks so real. I really like the character Sulley ...
Anybody that knows me by now knows that I watch a lot of children?s movies. I have explained before but I get forced you know? One minute I can be watching the footie, the next I?m invaded by the rest of the family who abruptly turn the TV onto the DVD channel, shove a bowl of popcorn in the middle of the room and bind and gag me for the following 90 minutes or so. This happened only recently with the millionth re-run of Monsters. Inc. In fact, it took me back to the time we saw it originally back in 2001??
Can you believe it? There I am standing in the queue for my seat tickets at my local UCG and there are a couple of strange looking fellas in front of me. One of 'ems a large, furry guy with broad shoulders and blue fur. The other is a small, green round chap with one large eye. They're both carrying plastic tubes in their hands ...

Advantages: Powerful acting, thought-provoking subject Disadvantages: Violent, disturbing, inaccurate and flat script at places
the atmosphere in which two desperate and lost souls trying to grab at their diminishing choices while only one is them is actually aware of it. There isn't much happening in terms of character or plot development, the events cascade rather rapidly and bring blow after blow to the hasty ending. It's certainly not for the faint hearted to watch, some of the more violent and graphic ones made me cringe with dismay. I did cry at the end, while the most emotionally charged moments of the movie were played out.
Conclusion
I do not feel that having prior knowledge of the plot would make watching the movie any less intense. The reason for that is the events are portrayed with a bias, namely from Aileen's point of view and not e.g from the victims' family or the press who obviously did their best to portray her as a monster.
