Pure Garage Four to the floor

Advantages: Todd Edwards on the mix
Disadvantages: Bit old now but still an essential purchase

If you like garage music or indeed the producer Todd Edwards, then this really is the dream team collaboration. Todd Edwads is a legendary producer from New Jersey who has massively influenced the garage scene in the UK from the early nineties with DJ EZ being one of the main DJ's who showcased his music here is the UK. I purchased this CD a few years ago from Amazon and it still gets a spin occasionally taking me back to my raving days in my youth. The 1st CD consists of tunes DJ EZ has picked which were all influential at that time( CD released 2003) including his legendary intro's which are normally played only at clubs. It also fetures tracks by the legend that is MJ Cole with Talkbox, an absolute belter. However my favourite from CD 1 has to be Zack Toms - Bring Me Down(Stanton Warriors Mix) which has a sweet vocal and then drops ...

Advantages: Great Mixing by Artful Dodger, Some excellent tunes, Good variation on the tunes
Disadvantages: None really

the faster dance type songs, all showing the typical garage beat in the background. Songs from artists such as Artful Dodger, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Robbie Craig, MJ Cole and Basement Jaxx all add up to make a great double-CD album. The quality of the mixing is also very good and on some tracks the mix is so good it is hard to distinguish the different tunes. I would reccomend this album to anyone who is into Garage music or anything with a beat. It is great for listening to in the car while cruising around! ...
