Advantages: Skin feels nice and soft, removes excess oil. Disadvantages: For a gel it's a bit too thick for me and I always have to use a toner afterwards.
, this particular one is a pale green colour. The first thing to notice about is bottle is it is quite big, and it contains 200ml of cleanser.
The bottle states this cleanser will cleanse away impurities and make-up and help your skin stay healthy with this cooling and balancing gel. It claims to sweep away excess oil, clean the pores and soften the skin leaving it looking matte. It is fragrance-free, non-drying and hypo-allergenic.
Using this gel is easy, simply press down the pump onto your cotton wool pad. Only a small amount comes out at a time so I usually end up pressing the pump 4 or 5 times. When applying this to my face I immediately feel it's cooling side to it. It's a soft gel cleanser which wipes across the face easy and does feel very cooling, certainly helps me wake up on a morning!
It's absorbed into the skin easily ...
Advantages: Excellent as an all purpose concelor. Very little required which means little gem will last a while. Also feels very nice on the skin (no cakey feeling) Disadvantages: A bit pricey (£20!!) and for those that don't have dark circles, this product is a wasted purchase.
.
That is until I was flicking through a fashion and beauty magazine one day. Usually I would flick right past the extortionately priced designer label beauty goodies but this time something made me stop. A long gold pen by the name of Touché Éclat made by YSL. The blurb underneath the picture claimed that the pen could banish all dark circles and was suitable for all skin types. For a second I wondered if this could be the answer my eyes had been praying for but dismissed the idea as another marketing ploy, after all it was £20 for 2.5ml, and thought no more about it.
Six months later I found myself in a big department store in France stood in front of the YSL counter gazing at Touché Éclat, in the flesh so to speak. I was on holiday and had been looking for presents for my family when I stumbled across the YSL make up counter ...
Advantages: silky soft, easy absorbed and great value for money! Disadvantages: none that I can think of
fantasitc product...another gem from Simple!! I have very sensitive skin so this light moisturiser is great as it has no harsh smells etc to it that would usually irritate me skin. I use it every morning and have doen for some years now. Its light so doesn't leave my skin feeling creasy so it helps me stop getting spots. I use a little just before I put on my make up in the morning and I can apply make up straight away, unlike some heavier creams where you have to wait for what seems like ages before you can out on your make up! And us girlies know time is presious in the morning especially!! The product doesn't really have a smell as such, its light, soft feeling and sinks straight it to the skin. I just wish Simple would make a smaller size for travelling!!! But apart from that I can't fault it!!! ...
