When the band went their ways to create their solo albums, different styles emerged. With Ace, he let his hard rock persona loose and created in my opinion the best of the four albums.
Thumping beats supplied by Anton Fig on Drums led the way for Ace to dish out his screeching guitar sound and unique vocal style. From the popular New York Groove to the first instrumental Fractured Mirror, Ace never lets up. Apart from Fractured Mirror, the highlight of the album is Wiped Out, starting Ace's laugh over some thumping drums.
After Ace left Kiss, he tried to recreate what he had done on this album and never really succeeded - even with sequels to Fractured Mirror.
Definitely the best of the bunch.
